For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to make a positive impact beyond just myself. As a freshman in college, I was studying Criminal Justice. It occurred to me after my first year that maybe a bigger impact could be made relative to our changing climate.
I remained unsure how to best pursue that. While mired in indecision, I thought that if I could at least communicate well, that would be a great foundation to apply to a more concentrated path down the road.
After graduating with a degree in Journalism and Music Industry, I spent the next four years working in broadcast news. From that experience, I learned that I would be more fulfilled focusing on optimizing how we use energy in the contemporary world.
I spent the next 12 years in the ESCO space delivering and developing various energy conservation measures to help businesses reduce their usage and carbon footprint. Still, I felt like I wasn’t doing enough.
After meeting Keith and learning about Facil, it became clear he was considering a global solution that could quite literally change the world.
When the opportunity arose to join Facil, I couldn’t pass it up.
My sincerest hope is to be among the ancestors our descendants will thank. To be considered as such, it’s my contention that we must embrace and exploit the technology available to us now.
Facil may just be one of the best levers we can pull to help create a better future for Earth's inhabitant's hereafter.
