Danielle Radden

VP of Global Revenue Operations

Danielle Radden didn’t take the straight path into smart buildings—she took the scenic route. With a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in biochemistry, she originally set out to study neuropsychology. As life often does, it took Danielle down a different path. After running a successful book publishing company for over a decade, she pivoted into the world of smart buildings five years ago as the Product Marketing Manager at Switch Automation. That’s where she discovered her passion for making buildings not only more efficient, but more intelligent.

Since then, Danielle has been on a mission to deepen her expertise in the built environment, taking coursework through Smart Buildings Academy and connecting with thought leaders through communities like Nexus Labs. Danielle currently serves as the Executive Secretary for the Building Intelligence Group (BIG) and sits on the steering committee for its Colorado chapter—because building intelligence isn’t just a career, it’s a community. She thrives on turning complex building systems into conversations that people actually understand (and maybe even enjoy).

When Danielle is not translating BACnet into plain English or championing smarter HVAC strategies, she’s at home in Colorado with her husband, their four kids, and a house full of animals that may or may not have figured out how to bypass the smart thermostat.

“I believe that intelligent buildings are soon going to be a reality everywhere—and that curiosity, collaboration, and a well-placed dad joke are all part of building a better future.”
